We are committed to tackling alcohol-related crime and disorder.
Researching alcohol-related crime
Although research has found that the frequency of alcohol consumption
and especially drinking to get drunk is associated with crime and
disorderly behaviour, most alcohol-related offences are committed
by a minority of those people who consume alcohol irresponsibly.
The majority of people who drink alcohol don’t commit offences
or participate in anti-social behaviour or disorder.

and measuring alcohol-related crime
