Drug use and young people


One strand of the cross-government drugs strategy is to reduce the risks of young people using illicit drugs. We have therefore been examining:

• the risk and protective factors around drug use
• drug use amongst vulnerable young people
• the effectiveness of Criminal Justice interventions that target young people
